Seems to work very well, for me, anyway.
it feels like it boots a little bit faster than the 3.2.2, maybe, I have not timed it...
Oh, it is on my little acer aspire one, btw

Thanks for the quick feedback. How about RAM usage? Any issues?

Well, my conky says I use 65+- a few ram, I guess conky uses some too? With the 3.2.2 kernel, it used around 69-72-ish
So far, everything seems to work great!
I THINK the machine feels more responsive, but it might just be that my brain is slower?
Sound and network works without any issues...
Just ask if you want me to try something
Edit, added some info below here
Hmm, I better find that sensors app thing.
Oh, and while booting, I get a red error message about ipv6 somethingsomething??

Liquorix kernel 3.2.0-2.dmz.1 = 53.5 MB @ idle
antiX 3.2.5 kernel = 59.5 MB @ idle
antiX kernel boots MUCH faster!
Everything works as it should! I am going to run this as my default kernel.

Don’t know if this is good practice, but I’ve got 5 antiX kernels installed on my P200MMX.
3.1.5-antix-586, the three 3.2.2-…-486, and this 3.2.5-antix.1-486, bouncing back and forth at my will.
They all work on this PI, and frankly I can’t tell a difference subjectively. Is there anything specific to look for?
One little thing: ATA audio cards, Sound Blaster 16 and a Yamaha, that were detected using antiX-M11-486 with kernel upgrade to 3.1.5-antix-586, are no longer detected with this antiX-M12 testing version, with any of these kernels. I have been swapping the ATA cards around, so could be a physical hardware problem, could be the bios not finding the cards. Alsa is not available, and if I try the antixCC to try configuring of sound options, that’s not available either.
Sorry, ATA audio cards should probably be called ISA, ie pre-PCI. I hate 3-letter acronyms.
EDIT re my ISA audio cards working on P200MMX. Tried again with antiX-M11-486 with kernel upgrade to 3.1.5-antix-586, and with antiX-full (aka M12, testing) and the 5 kernel versions.
Same outcome. It’s not bad audio card.

Hello:
I'll ask a stupid newbie question. How do I install the new kernel? just dpkg -i for the 2 deb files?
How do I get grub to pick it up? Do grub-update??
thanks.
