The 2.9.2 is what I have here with the copy/paste bug. If it weren't for that being such an important function, its really quite good, and didn't use much memory compared to the chromium or iceweasel or midori

My post was done in Netsurf and I had no problem with copy or paste.
I copied what I needed and used the edit button in netsurf to paste.
There is no java in Netsurf so maybe that is what is stymieing you is all I can figure.

I didn't see any details about the copy/paste problems to know if it affected only some installations, but my guess is that would be the case, or it would have been caught and fixed before the software was released. I am glad it works for you.
And not I didn't get that far with it to test javascript. Again, its the sites that decide to use it or not, not me, so I just know if I'm hitting troubles or not.

I have marked the thread solved. The problem doesn't occur with the other laptop, and its just not worth putting lots of time into trying to mix versions of things for one old cantankerous machine.
