this is the italian blog of a social promotion association in my town (Milano,Italy).
I'm a member,we recuperate old hardware using linux
The refurbished machine are given to other no-profit association, public school and people who don't have too much money
for buy a new computer.
We also teach them how to use linux for basic work at home.
Recently personally I start to use Antix and other people like it __{{emoticon}}__ , Antix 12 is very simple to use and very light.
Before I prepare the machines using plain Debian or Bodhi Linux.

Personally I use Antix on a 2001's Dell Latitude C600 laptop and on a 2003's Acer 1355LM laptop on I think to switch from Debian Sid to Antix 13 in my main machine (200'7s Dell Latitude D630, I use this machine for home computing and also for work).

I know I'm not a big writer here, but I personally thank you Anticapitalista and all the team
