I bet over half the world would agree with that one.

But the alternative(s) aren't any better IMO.

We had a 24 hour General Strike here on Wednesday against Government Pension"reforms". It was a huge success.
The Government doesn't seem like it wants to back down though, so more strikes and demonstrations are planned.

Fun time lies ahead.

To be honest I don't know much about US politics, but if I were in the USA I would probably vote for this guy.

He seems to at least talk about some anticapitalist measures.

I suspect you'd be an activist in this fellow's campaign.

Paul has been described as conservative, Constitutionalist, and libertarian.[2] He advocates non-interventionist foreign policy, having voted against actions such as the Iraq War Resolution, but in favor of force against terrorists in Afghanistan. He favors withdrawal from NATO and the United Nations. Having pledged never to raise taxes, he has long advocated ending the federal income tax and reducing government spending by abolishing most federal agencies; he favors hard money and opposes the Federal Reserve. He also opposes the Patriot Act, the federal War on Drugs, and gun control.

No I wouldn't, dieselbenz.

I know he has a 'good' anti-war record over Iraq, but that is about all I agree with him on.

He is pro-capitalist, did support Bush war 1 if I am not mistaken, and the war on Afghanistan.

Dieselbenz --

Before you run that, you might want to do this first:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
The following packages will be replaced
Vice-Prez
Do you want to continue [Y/n] Y

That would remove Cheney first, no?

How'd the caucuses go (and if you go LP, who are the Libs running this time around, if not Paul?)?

The caucus was fun. Tiring but fun. Biden didn't have the 15% necessary to be viable in my group, so my wife and I joined her daughter in the Obama camp. Obama ended up with 4 delegates to the county convention (me being one of them), Clinton with 3 and Edwards with 2. We took a couple of other Biden folks with us to the Obama group and that was enough bodies to get the 4th delegate.

Iowa is once again quiet, the press having moved on to New Hampshire and now Michigan.
