Well I was having trouble connecting inside a VB install so I burned a cd and booted it up on my laptop.

The first thing was no broadcom driver so I had to use my Netgear WG111 V2 usb dongle to connect wirelessly. Everything looks real good so far.

I tried the meta-package installer and here are the results.

which Broadcom driver do you use? The Broadcom 4311 wireless network card works perfectly, whether live or installed on my Gateway PA6A laptop.

I have the 4318, it has worked out of the box in the past. It presently uses the b43 driver I think it's called but I sure i can get it going with a little effort.

Yeah, it really ought to work. One would think that the b43 driver would take care of it.
