Unetbootin (in windows and on a lot of linux systems) no longer works. If using windows, use Rufus..
BTW there is no MX-16, only antiX-16- beta quality

Which version of linux?
Latest antiX-15.1 should work ok with unetbootin or the antix2usb script.

Hit that error with Unetbootin in Windows.
Rufus is the answer if using windows.
Made the cd, installed to extra computer and then used a new download and the native antiX-16-b1 Unetbootin to make my Bootable stick.
