I found synaptic but I am unable to use it. I tried to put in Abiword but I can not locate the" apply"!! Is the Konqueror browser still available? Is there any way to bypass the inquisition at the gmail sign ins? Would it be better for me to remove MX 15 and install the Antix 15.1??

Please disregard this thread-I uninstalled the MX 15 and installed Antix 15.1 instead!!
