I just installed Antix 15 on my laptop. I have everything running the way I want except that I am unable to access my iphone as well as my Nexus 7 tablet. I installed MTP tools as well as gvfs. When I access Network Interfaces I can see my iphone as eth1 ao my laptop can acknowledge the iphone but I'm not sure how to mount it so that i can copy files from it. When I reboot into MX-15, I have no problems at all. after I installed MTP tools in MX-15 everything worked. I was hoping the same would happen in antix 15 as well. What am I missing?

I've never done this myself, but if you are going to use gvfs then you need a gvfs aware filemanager, which rox and spacefm are NOT. You'll need thunar or pcmanfm or somthing like that.
my understanding is mtp-tools are commandline utilities.
