Whoops...... and there i was all prepared to put /mnt, but when i fired up my VBox antix, nothing appeared in /mnt, only in /media, so that's what i put. __{{emoticon}}__

Strange though, how it's different for different distros. Ubuntu seems to put everything in /media. It can be terribly confusing. __{{emoticon}}__

OOi, will the drives show up in fstab even from a LiveCD then?

Well, a few years ago I kind a messed around with linux. Although I've been working with DOS commands I got lost. Now that it is more graphical I will still have to learn how linux distro's organize things.
I've been trying SliTaz (to basic for me but very fast), Ubuntu (more like Windows but to slow because to heavy on my PIII 450 Mhz) and Puppy (seems not stable on my machine). Now I stumbled into AntiX and immediately liked the look and feel.
Next step is trying to put it on the /mnt/sda1 and make Grub start it up along side the choices for SliTaz and Puppy.

I'm pretty sure you should be able to do it just using the rox-filer that comes with antiX. Just right click with the mouse to get the menu, then select files, and that should start the filer.

Then you need to go to the root (/) folder and look for a folder called /media. Go in there and your drives should be there (They'll probably be labelled sda1, sda2 etc). Just click on one and it should mount & open. If they're not in the /media folder then they'll be in the /mnt folder, but i'm pretty sure you'll find them in /media.
