Still very much a beginner here but having watched the excellent tubes I still have some strange problems.
I installed antix and directed it to use my existing /home partition which might be part of the problem:-

First is when I use the file manager to look at my home directory I get the above captioned strange error message.

An error window then opens and I get:-

udevil: /dev/fd0 is know to mount - running mount as current user
udevil: warning 45: options ignored for devide in fstab (or specify mount point)
mount: /dev/fd0 is not a valid block device

I put"strange" as I thought floppy discs went out with the brown ball and there isn't one on my machine!
According to gparted my home directory is at /dev/sda7 which is where is should be.
What am I doing wrong please?

Post a copy of your /etc/fstab for us to see what you have listed in there.

@Budgie, please post the output of the command"inxi -F" inside of [ code ] ... [ /code ] tags (no spaces).  This is a good habit to get into when you ask for help.

.   There were work-arounds that involved blacklisting drivers for the unwanted devices.  There was along a suggestion that this problem only existed in kernel 4.5.0 and went away in 4.5.1.  We don't use exactly the same kernels as bunsenlabs but there are, of course, many commonalities.
