I didn't open your links and neither have seen any news yet but some 'hawks' in the US are getting really desperate by not being able to launch a war whenever they like like it used to be.
Above any creed or ideology, there is only one way to deal with evil: love it. Sooner or later it will come to Light.

I think we've come to the beginning of the end of the siege of Gaza. Israel has crossed a line here that it will deeply regret.

It will be a real test when the MV Rachel Corrie approaches Gaza sometime in the next 48 hours I believe.

And Turkey has threatened to send a naval escort when another flotilla makes a run for Gaza. Then the US will be forced to make a choice between NATO or Israel.

Interesting article. Thanks for the link anti.

IMO, the raid was horribly bungled, the only question is on what level it was bungled. Could well be that it was on the political level, not the military level.

A friend of a friend was on the boat that got attacked. She was not injured but she was incarcerated. She's free now but while she was locked up, the Israelis used her credit cards.

I have heard similar stories.

I know 2 people who were on the Mavi Mamara and both were arrested, beaten and had their papers, cameras, credit cards stolen from them by Israeli soldiers.
I also have a friend who was on one of the Greek ships and she told me that the Isreali soldiers were extremely aggressive and they also had their belongings stolen.

Agreed!
As Leo Tolstoy (imo) correctly pointed out, all mankind knows that the message"Love thy neighbor as thyself" is good and right. But we (mankind) are not yet able to implement this way of life on a daily basis. We're not"ready" for it yet. We can listen to the teachings, and we all agree that it is the best way, but we aren't able to live it out.
