I never can install a metapackage.
I tried with fileZilla => impossible to install => the forum give me another way, it's works.
Yesterday I tried to install local server (PHP, apache, mysql...) impossible.
Is there a reason ? why metapackages cannot be installed ?

I have Antix 16 Full

Thank's

When you choose an app in the metapackage-installer, do you make sure it is ticked?
Any error messages?

do you make sure it is ticked? => I do not hunderstand that
No error message<;;; many lines>;; then"enter your code or enter F4 to quit"
For Filezilla it was the same
The gives me 3 commands to run to instal and it works fine !

I will run the command metapackage for local server and paste the result. Wait 3 minutes

Code: Select all

Make sure it is ticked = check off the check box at the front of the line for what you would like to install.
The output suggests that you are not selecting/checking off/ticking the checkbox at the front of the line as metapackage installer is only updating the sources (apt-get update) and not installing anything (apt-get install)

I gived pasword for Mysql...

Localhost/phpmyadmin => nothing (white page)

I do not see the server in the menu. (or I do not Know his name ?)

I have not readed the document that rise when opening localhost. I am very tired tonight !

I just have to know how to start the local server, even stop it... (console commands ???)

As root
Service apache2 stop/start
Service mysql stop/start

Would recommend looking at webmin rather than phpmyadmin but that may be just me
