Guys ! Rather than trying to figure out / try / fail by myself... I could certainly use expert help : how-to cook own GUI links (shortcuts, icons...) to launch selected apps, either from the Menu or from Destop (Rox/icewm) ?

As an illustrative example, I now need to make an icon that will launch the Tor client (without the tor browser), namely, the command should be:... and in this case should run in the background (no GUI window).

Praytell, how to make a proper shortcut, with a generic icon (or a specific icon file in case I had one) ?

Have you looked at using the Personal Menu? '
