Is it possible to grab your install from the harddisk, and make it a live-usb?
I think I have seen some comments saying something about it, but...as usual, when I need it, I can't find anything.
I am very happy with my m11, that is installed on my netbook, and would like to keep it, and install m12 on the machine...

2. Follow these instructions to create your USB.

If you want, you may make your USB persistent. This is what I have done and it is very slick.
Guess I better add this is for antiX12, not antiX11.
1. Using antixsnapshot, creat an .iso image of your install.rust collector wrote:Is it possible to grab your install from the harddisk, and make it a live-usb?

AHA!
So, antixsnapshot makes an iso, just about the same the one I would normaly download from sourceforge?
(just that I have set it up&broken it like I want it)
Many thanks!

I was never succesful making a USB from my remasters of M11 so I would just make an USB with the antixusb script and build it exactly like my hard drive install.
AND I have had some failures using the new antiX12 too. I don't know if it was because of something not right in the script or if it was something I did wrong. Really the best thing I have found is to make a USB from the original antiXtest2.iso, build it the way I want, and then remaster the USB using the instructions that anticaptialista posted.
But as I said in my last post, I have only used it in the new antiX12. I don't know if it would work in antiX-M11.rust collector wrote:AHA!

Ok, I guess I can give it a try anyway, If it doesn't work, it is really not too bad, but it would be cool if it did!
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
