I just wanted to say 'hi' to all. I have been using Mepis for several years and now AntiX for several months. I like both, but AntiX is significantly faster and does everything with which I have tasked it.

I may be late on this, but for those who want to know more about 'Lysistrata' the play, Project Gutenberg has it posted as etext 7700. There are text and html versions. The html version includes some very acceptable drawings from this version of the book, as well. __{{emoticon}}__ Check it out.

I do a lot of volunteer work proofing and posting books to Project Gutenberg, though I work through the Distributed Proofreaders. We are always looking for more volunteers.

Mepis and AntiX work just fine with the software at these sites and I find it even easier than it was when I was tied to M$.

I am still learning about Linux and that is what I enjoy the most.

This is also my 62 birthday, so I wish everyone a wonderful day. __{{emoticon}}__

Welcome, Len, and Happy 62nd!!

Thanks for the report on antiX with Proj. Gutenberg. Proofing their e-texts is a noble contribution, something I've been meaning to join in on myself (I've used the books for years and need to do my part). The only problem is that I taught Freshman Comp for years and gradually lost my ability to recognize blunders...

I don't know what the Distributed Proofreaders are. ??
