Not sure about posting this. This is probably upstream, I'll happily delete this post and report elsewhere if you can suggest a more appropriate place.

Running antiX-15, the default, stable Jessie repos. However, I can't install libvirt-bin, which is preventing me running a VM with VGA passthrough...

Code: Select all

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libvirt-bin : Depends: libvirt-daemon-system (>= 1.2.9-9+deb8u2) but it is not going to be installed
libvirt-daemon-system : Depends: libsystemd0 but it is not installable.
Cheers all!

I have uploaded nosystemd debs for lib-virt that hopefully will allow you to install without libsystemd0.
Should be in the repos soon. (Only for jessie)

Er...wow, thank you very much Anti!

Seriously, I hope it wasn't too much work. Is it something I could do? Is it something I can investigate?

Perhaps not, eh. __{{emoticon}}__

Thanks anti! I can now launch VMs and game to my hearts content! I'm currently compiling a guide with a lot of resources pulled together, how to set up

, if anyone is interested in exploring this alternative to the dreaded dual boot. I can now include antiX-15 with MX-15 in the list of distros I've used successfully.
