I have a problem with skype - i can hear people but they cannot hear me. I thought it was the microphone settings but these seem OK. One thing i noted was that access to the mixer from the menu (multimedia -> audio -> mixer) doesn't seem to work and neither does aumix from the command line - it comes up with an error indicating that it cant start aumix becos a file is missing. The aumixrc file is present in /etc but doesn't always seems to be present in my home directory which is a bit weird. Other sound systems such as playing music etc seem to be OK. Any help with this would be much appreciated.
