Hi,
My ubuntu 9.10 installation broke. The 9.10 based Linux Mint won't even boot or install from the liveCD. Something is wrong with this latest ubuntu release, at least on my hardware. My installation broke after using synaptic to update MPlayer which required a Nvidia driver upgrade - and all hell came to rest in my computer.
Anyway, since the Mint LiveCD won't boot I need some LiveCD to try to recover documents and things from my broken Ubuntu installation before wiping it and moving on. All of the LiveCDs that I have won't mount the ubuntu ext4 partition. Will antix ?
Thanks,
b
