hello ,
iam trying to launch antix mepis toussaint on my old laptop ( acer travelmate 200t) , i used to try a lot of distro on it, none really works well obviously :/
on a lot of distro i tried i used to pass the irqpoll option at boot , antix seems didn't accept it
i tried with all different config at boot , each time with or without irqpoll option got = disabling # irq15 no body cared try to booting with" irqpoll" option and after that the system can't find the cdrom ( lookin for cdrom in /dev/sr0) , and finnally the system came to
can't find mepis filesystem, dropping u to a limited shell :/
that's weird because it's the first time i can't launch kernel with the irqpoll option
thanks in advance
irqpoll boot option don't works

I'm looking at the specs for this laptop here

I don't see any reason why antiX wouldn't boot on it. Is there a reason you need to use this irqpoll boot option? I have never tried it and I'm not sure what it tries to do.
Edit: I found this, it may help.
