No, this isn't my antiX system, it is my PCLinuxOS running Gnome desktop.

What I think you will enjoy is the wallpaper. A Benz friend who lives in Oklahoma took this picture of his car during the ice storms that recently caused so much havoc in his state.

Note the temperature display in the panel -- that is what it was where I live (Iowa) yesterday evening. Temp is in F, not C.

Nice wallpaper. I wonder how long it took your friend to make his car ready to drive again!

As a modest Toyota Corolla driver, the Mercedes-es and BMW's always scare me a bit when I'm on the German Autobahn (quite close to me, because I live in the Netherlands). They are present there in large amounts and regularly drive there at speeds above 250 kilometres/hour (155 miles/hour).

That makes overtaking a slow truck, rather an adventure for me sometimes. Before you know it, the small dot in the rear view mirror is almost on your rear fender....

Your Toyota would blow the doors off of my Benz -- mine is the four cylinder non-turbo diesel 240D. Top speed, going downhill with a stiff tailwind, is about 85 mph.

Nice car. I won't have to fear it on the Autobahn, but it's a great machine anyway. Those 200.000 miles only make a Mercedes middle-aged, not old.

My 1999 Corolla, which runs on propane (LPG), has a mileage of 144.000 (232.000 kilometres), but my aim is to reach 280.000 miles (450.000 kilometres), before I buy another car. It's fun to squeeze as many miles as possible out of a car. Good for the wallet as well... __{{emoticon}}__
