PeaZip - archiver tool that seems to be more full-featured than Xarchiver (like it opens iso's). I didn't test it though:

gcolor2 (in the repos) is tiny and allows to pick a color from the screen (I didn't find this feature in MtPaint). Maybe could come with antiX.

I had a look at the apps suggested.
Imagination will be on the next full release. (cool and light. perfect for antiX)
peazip is very nice, but takes up 10 times the space of xarchive.
What exactly does gcolor2 do? Is it like a useful addon to mpaint?

gcolor2 has that little button (I may post a screenshot later) which you click then click on any color in the screen and it selects the color (showing its hex number). Its good for duplicating stuff or making one image match with another.
The MtPaint color chooser gui doesn't have this (but I didn't go through the manual to look if its hidden). Anyway, I found this tiny app in Puppy, which has both MtPaint and gcolor2 (and installed in antiX - I think it's an useful addition).
