Hi,
I installed antix 13.1 on my PC without any problem from pendrive. But I couldn't to install it to cousin PC from the same pendrive - any program won't to start.
RAM 256 MB
Nvidia 5200 128 MB
Intel celeron 325
What it can be?
Thanks.

With the information your giving there are too many variables causing it not to install.
1. Dose it run live from the pendrive?
2.Are you trying to use a 64bit version on a 32bit computer?
3. Do you have the correct bios settings? ( PNP OS ) answer should be"no"
4. Did it Install, and programs will not run?
The main four questions.

1. yes
2. no
3. its running live, so bios is correct.
4. Its running live, but i can't to start any program in live session including installation program. Mouse, keyboard working. I'm clicking on shortcut, but nothing happenings. That is why I'm here.

This is interesting. How do you know the keyboard is working of you can't start any programs? Did you use the keyboard to switch to a virtual terminal? Does the X-windows screen seem to be frozen?

Maybe there is a problem with X-windows. I suggest you use the F4 Video Mode --> safe option in the LiveUSB boot loader screen.

If that doesn't fix the problem then I suggest you try to get to the virtual terminal command line. If the keyboard works then you can jump there from X-windows with <Ctrl><Alt><F2>. You can jump back to X-windows with <Ctrl><Alt><F7>.

If the font is really big in the virtual terminal then you can use the vga boot parameter to make the font smaller which will allow more text to fit on the screen."vga=795" will give you 1280x1024 resolution which is what I normally use."vga=792" will give you 1024x768. You may need to use the F4 --> safe option in order for the vga parameter to work. You should log in as user"root" with password"root". This will be done automatically if you use the"db+" boot parameter.

Maybe the F4 --> safe option in the bootloader will fix the problem. If not, let us know where you stand and we will give you further instructions.

1. I'm not sure, but thinking that I used Ctrl+Esc for keyboard to open menu.
2. No, but i will try virtual terminal.
3. No, i can see movement of mouse
4. I always used to boot F5 Video mode - safe, because other way - rainbow pixels on display.
5. I wont to use command line install on boot screen or virtual terminal. but i don't know what to type to start installation. I will try now in virtualbox
I let you know.
