I have gone into the Control Center to automatically activate Firehol on startup.

Besides keeping antiX Linux/MEPIS/Debian up-to-date, is there anything else I can do to improve security? I know that Linux without extra precautions is safer than Windows with everything (including antimalware software) fully updated, but I understand that security isn't something we should be taking for granted.
