my 8.5 beta install didn't go well,
so, i'm looking into that - i think that my gateway solo bios are not supported any more?
Well - it said something about that at boot up.
It stops/hangs at loading the root files at boot up - but the live cd works
The install works good too but it dose not boot.
so i'll go back to 8.2 and try and report back.

Sorry for bringing up an old subject, but there is another item I think requires attention regarding this script, mostly to do with the suggested location.
I would recommend that instead of placing it into /usr/bin, users put it into /usr/local/bin, so that you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is not a script or executable provided by the distros normal means of installation, and it's easier to backup and restore a small folder if you ever have to reinstall, or recreate your system onto another box.
