I've tried icewm and it won't work for the use the computer will be used for. I want to replace it with xfce4. To avoid possible conflicts I'll reinstall with core and install xfce4. I believe I should install X11 first. Which pkg(s) would be best to start that process?
Thanks

If the title is correct another way is to simply install Debian Testing / XFCE version. You know, in that case you have to install Flash, Java, non-free video driver and/or multimedia by hand instead of scripts provided by Anti. Anyhow, could be a good exercise to understand Debian, at least for an enthusiast but not programmer like me.
This is for Brian : I really enjoyed your blog. Don't take me wrong; I just presume you have 1 or 2 kids and everyday have to explain any small detail __{{emoticon}}__ Was entertaining.
