Hello again. Working hard at setting up my system. Took care of Thunderbird and google calendars, took care of sound and now I need to do two more things:
- Show the network connection status in the taskbar (it was there at one point in time!)
- Try to make my laptop function key work to set brightness, video output, wireless on off, etc..
Your help is appreciated.
Michel

Edit preferences file in your icewm folder in home directory.

controlcentre -> Session -> User-Desktop -> startup file
simply uncomment wicd entry.
You will probably need a reboot or logout/login

By the way, I was a mepis user and I helped out with Arabic translations for Antix at one point in time.
