I'm a new user....loving AntiX so far....was a Vector user for several years on my old laptop and still dual boot, but it didn't take me long to make AntiX my default.

Anyway, I'm still learning but I finally know how to edit the config files in my home directory, and I'm working with the toolbar menu, trying to add an email quick launch for Iceape Mail and Newsgroups, but I don't know the correct syntax for the name to put in the toolbar line? I tried iceape-mailnews as the executable but that didn't work. All the other quick launches worked so I know I'm doing something right.

Can anyone help me out?

Welcome to antix,

here's one way, you may want a different icon but you get the idea, open control center> edit icewm settings>toolbar and add the following:

prog"Mail" /usr/share/iceape/chrome/icons/default/msgcomposeWindow.png iceape -mail

Then click on anXti (Favorite Applications) or menu(right click on desktop) all the same, go to logout and click Restart Icewm
