I friends,

I installed the Eino music remaster and I have a new issue, I can't chose a wallpaper in rox-fluxbox.

Any advice?

Thanks.

Choosing walpaper in antixcc and pointing it to rox/wallpapers don't work?

Where is the downloaded wallpaper?

To chose a wallpaper in antixcc is not working, I click and nothing happens.

I also tried in rox-filer backdrop but all the buttons are disabled...

Try

Code: Select all

gksu rox
go to /usr/share/wallpaper. Right click on your wallpaper file and set run action to feh.
Then left click it and it will open in feh. Then right click and set as wallpaper.

I don't know how eino has his respin file location setup. Usually downloaded files if wanting toi keep them in root go into /usr/share/backgrounds.

Me. I bypass this by making a me a a wallpaper folder in /home/harry/wallpaper and point antixcc wallpaper changer to that.
That folder is where my downloaded wallpapers go.
Just makes things easier for me.

You might want to wait on eino or someone else to reply since I am unfamiliar a little on how his iso is setup.

I find it weird and strange that you say antixcc wallpaper button is not working either.

I can't.

In terminal:

Code: Select all

$ gksu rox
No protocol specified
feh ERROR: Can't open X display. It *is* running, yeah?

And, sorry more issues...

The problen is rox, I can't open any app clicking the icons...

Here is the message:

No run action specified for files of this type (application/x-sharedlib) - you can set a run action by choosing `Set Run Action' from the File menu, or you can just drag the file to an application.

Updates have been breaking things in my respin, looks like I need to do another respin to accommodate all the updates.

In Debian's repositories, It seems that something in the wheezy repositories has been breaking things.

simple....
as the error says the file was removed and now there is"No such file or directory".

You will need to either
a) edit ~/.antix-session/wallpaper-list.conf and remove the rox-fluxbox line or change it to a valid image
OR
b) place a wallpaper in that directory and name it the same.

EDIT:
I am pretty sure I have said this before, but forgot... so I will fix the wallpaper app to accomodate for missing files to work with a default file.
Or maybe a color, cause then there is no chance of a missing wallpaper image.
