Good evening,
I want the"swap" partition aktivating by every start of"antiX". Meanwhile I'd proofd a lot of tips, so in the mephis handbook and other ones, but without success. When I try, for example, to write"swapon" into the terminal, I became an error. Or my password should be wrong. Can anyone give me an advice, what I have exactly to do, to involve- mount the"swap" into the boot- startmenü?
with best regards - enzo

You don't do anything with the swap partition. That is for the system to use only. You only have control of the Root and Home partitions and also any other partitions which you have created.

A swap is not included in the Start menu.
Check it as root
The entry in /etc/fstab looks, e.g. then so out
Check it as root
Code: Select all
blkid -c /dev/null -o list
Code: Select all
