Yup, on this install, I can not type"d" in a terminal, or even outside of x.

"D" works, every other letter works.
"d" works fine in apps running in a terminal, and in other apps.

I can not find anything online about this kind of thing, and I really have no idea?

The install is 15 core 32 bit, with icewm.

Could be a dodgy keyboard map, which one are you using?

I use the"no" map.

Well, I think you might have been right.
I set it back to"us" reboot, then set back-back to"no", reboot, and it works.

I still think it was a weird issue.
