AntiX is fast, good looking, and flexible, plenty of features to use, lots to explore, and great opportunities to customize and refine it, should that be of interest to you. Welcome to the AntiX community. I hope that you stop by often and that you enjoy both the community and the great software!sleekmason wrote:AntiX is going on my box pretty quick. I believe I will. I currently am using sidux on two partitions, and plan on AntiX going into the third. I had tried AntiX when it was new and saw the direction it was beginning to take and thought to check back after a while. I was already involved in working with fluxbox in sidux and didn't have the time to delve into something new.
This year, between the weather and the economy, I have had all sorts of time to stay on my computer. Guess I'll be writing my next post from AntiX:)
Sounds funny but sidux is my"stable" distro. I know that it will"just work" when I need it to. From the looks of things, AntiX is heading there as well, if not already there.

I thought I was one of the few at first, but it turns out that the MEPIS Lovers community is full of people who use two, three or more distros and many of them happen to use the trilogy of SimplyMEPIS, antiX, and sidux. There are also many who use SimplyMEPIS and antiX, or sidux and antiX, mostly because antiX has useful bits and pieces from both distros in a fast, effective package.
Happy New Year!
