I want to replace the current CUPS with the old version 1.3.11. How can I do this in Antix?
Why? I use a printer HP-1018 which needs the foo2zjs-driver. Altough I've installed the driver correctly (have done it over the years about 30 times...) the printer doesn't work. On the same box I have the same problem with slackware 13. After I switched back to the old CUPS all is working well.

The only way I can think of is to compile from source, but I have no idea if it will work or not.
