How to set up a DSL intenet connection?

I am using antix on a pretty old computer without wifi.However,I am not able to connect to the DSL connection given by my ISP.wicd is not working.How to connect on a DSL?Can I use NetworkManager?

open terminal

enter root password, then

and set your connection. the best is to keep to the default settings and insert only the user and password.

Weel,i did it,but CHAP authentication isn't working.Any suggestions?
