Got ot where you downloaded that deb and open a terminal. su root password -
dpkg -i skype (use Tab to complete).deb
If there are complaints of missing apps/lobs
apt-get -f install.
If this actually rmoves skype, then use smxi -G (as root to instll Skype). Via Package Install (1), non-free (2) then skype (6).

didn't work.
dpkg-deb: error: `getskype-linux-deb-64' is not a debian format archive
dpkg: error processing getskype-linux-deb-64 (--install):
I used smxi.
when I try to dpkg -i the original skype, it says this:
dpkg: error processing skype-debian_4.1.0.20-1_i386.deb (- install):
package architecture (i386) does not match system (amd64)
EDT: Never mind ! I managed to install it by doing this:
dpkg --add-architecture i386
apt-get update
and sudo gdebi skype-blablabla.deb
