Hi Everyone,
Just installed antiX 11 on my Eeepc 900. I want to install openvpn but have no idea where to start. I do have it running on my windows machime but no idea how to get it done on antiX, a simple to follow guide would be excellent.
Many thanks

The issue I have now is when I load Network connections > VPN > import > my client.ovpn > VPN boxes are filled in but it is al ghosted out and I cannot save the changes as every button is ghosted. Anyone point me in the right direction?
Oh I relaised that there was antiX 12 out so installed that now.
Thanks

If everything is greyed out the chances are you need to be Root to set it up.
This might help you:

But antiX uses sux and not sudo.

And have you tried typing"man ovpn" in a terminal for the manual?
Looking around further, there is a bug in Network Manager which may not apply since AntiX uses Wicd but it fits your problem.

No joy for me, I cannot get openvpn to work with my client.ovpn and Keys. All works fine under a Windows system with same keys etc. Still getting the greyed out under network manager. You mention AntiX uses Wicd, but there is no option I can see for creting an openvpn connection. __{{emoticon}}__Alanarchy wrote:OK, so does this help?
