Sounds to me like running a systemd free distro is what is stopping from installing .chicknfangz wrote:How can i install caffeine-ng in antix. There is a version of caffeine recently compiled in the mx test repo. You can temporarily enable that repo by UncommentING the entry in / etc/apt/sources.list.d/mx.list. reload your sources and it should show up.
I recommend disabling the test repo when you are finished and reloading the sources again.

Thanks dolphin_oracle But i had tried that version of caffeine 2.8 right IN MX-15 Its just not up to its potential in that version. IN caffeine-ng 3.3.4 it comes with everything and extra preference icon and you can actually add program to the list you don't want coming up if so. If you can find a way to bring it to the antix software i would diffidently PAY in donation. That's how much i would really want it and i know a lot of people would be happy to get it also.dolphin_oracle wrote:There is a version of caffeine recently compiled in the mx test repo.
