Excluding a neighborhood power failure, my antiX base w/Gnome/KDE has been up since I set it alive. Purring like a kitten on hot catnip. How long has yours been up? __{{emoticon}}__
I use it to surf the net, listen to music, and watch DVDs while I game on my XP machine.
Its been up for 6 days 2hrs (that when my power went out) and its as responsive as the day I installed it. Amazing.

antiX-M7-beta3 upgraded through sid repos was up for 15 days with no problems.
I rebooted because I wanted to test and install antiX-base.
I usually keep irssi (chat), htop, bash (for apt-get), mpd/ncmpc (audio), rtorrent, links2 (internet) and snownews (rss) all running in screen. In this way I can logout, allow someone else to login and do what they want and those apps are still running in screen.

uhh... about 20 minutes. What? It's on a laptop.
Try running screen in screen. For example, you are on your desktop working on some things in screen then ssh into your server and reattach screen that is running.
