I had such good luck with 'aptitude dist-upgrade' w/ antiX that I decided to do the same thing on my primary/server system (PCLinuxOS 2007).

Ooops -- first reboot and I was in for a surprise, which was an X-Server crash.

Fortunately, Linux lets us atone for our sins and reinstall (with /home intact, which is where my web server is).
