When I try to install LibreOffice, I get the following error:
E: Could not perform immediate configuration on 'perl'. Please see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-Configure for details. (2)
What does this mean? How do I straighten this out so that LibreOffice does install?

I replied to your other post about md5sum checking downloaded iso before burning cd. I am starting to think your install is a corrupted iso install with all the problems you are having. I have libre office installed on this box I am typing on which is
