hello everybody,
i'm trying to get java installed but i can't get it working.
i downloaded the .bin file, gave it permission and executed it.
then i followed the instructions from here:

but i can't figure it out. __{{emoticon}}__
i tried that linking in two maps:
the mozilla/extensions and the iceape/extensions
but it didn't work. i typed this in the directory i was:

ln -s aufs/usr/share/java/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so
has anyone already installed java and if yes, how?

You should install it from the repo (search 'sun java'). Remove the stuff you downloaded first.

thanks, i missed the repos...
i was browsing into a java app and wanted to install the java plug-in but had to do so manually and doing this, i forgot about the repos...
