when I plug in my usb flashdrive nothing happens. I am used to seeing a drive icon pop up on screen. It is seen with gparted as sda 1. How do I access this drive? I need to use the console? thanks in advance.

Plug in your flash drive, then either use rox-filer or pcmanfm to open up your home directory and you should your drive. No icon will pop up in Antix.

It should turn up in the /media folder in rox or as the name of the stick/device in pcmanfm (down the side).
Once you have finished, don't forget to unmount the device. (You should be prompted)
