antiX used to have it. It was nice and also had a"rollup" function.

I'd wait for more knowledgeable replies later on I guess.

That will keep you busy while waiting for a reply on metal2 I guess.

I wasn't using it back in 2008 when it had crashing problems. Maybe I'll post a poll to see what ICEWM Themes people like best/use most. Maybe that will help decide the next time what is in the distro. There are some that seem very similar.

here is the version from antiX 13.2
I think you can extract it into a themes folder in ~/.icewm and it will pick it up. Otherwise it goes into /usr/share/icewm/themes.

Thanks Dolphin and Rocky... I'll give it a try. I need high contrast because my eyesight is getting crappy and my laptop screens are small.

I installed all the theme packages for icewm from all the distros, and downloaded a few additional from the box look site rocky posted. I tried all of them, which took 2 evenings and decided on bluemetak2 witch is a colorized cousin of metal 2, and I will modify to make the icons larger and color coded, ie red X to close, etc, and give it a"Start" button.
I removed the standard add on theme package and that will save some space. While there I noticed there is an additional theme pack that is available, but I didn't install it.
To the devs, if you want to save some space, you could just install one theme (or the most popular few) and have a menu option that installs the other packages if someone wants choices.
Thanks for the suggestions
