Not really twins, but it seems so a little bit... __{{emoticon}}__

I discoveres two distros which have the same concepts as antix: a light inmplementation and"reduced" the software to the usual essential needs. And both are working very well.

the 1st one is fluxflux a remastering of PCLinuxOS 2009 just from 1 person, implemeted with openbox. it is also very stylish designed. fluxflux ist available in german only!

The 2nd one is Absolute Linux. This is a light implementation of slackware in the current version 12.2.1...designes nearly right in the same way as antix: with icewm plus rox-filer and a bunch of the same apps like in Antix. There are also some tools to reduce the complex slackware-operations to install software. Absolute is 100% compatible with slackware so you can use the huge repositories from the original. ans because it is slackware, it is also very fast. Here a view to the desktop (this version for root only!)
