Hi,
I usually use Windows and Mac OS X,
and from time to time think about using some linux...
Till now I didn't really installed any Linux -only twice, but for short time, just spent time reading about and trying to decide which one would suit me better.
Few monthes ago I was planning to install a distro on an old Mac G3, tried different Linux, and was impressed by Antix.
(but I get a better solution for this problem : deciding my boss to buy a new Mac, end of the G3-Antix issue)
As personal computer, I wanted a Linux eeePC, but since they didn't seems to sell the 901-linux version in France before 2009, I bougth one with XP.
Now, I'll be able to try Antix, at first for simple use (ebook/pdf reading, internet, chatting) and improve my Linux knoledge / use.
Thanks all,
Swo
(sorry for this cold and basic presentation, it's friday evening!)

Welcome to antiX! I use it alongside XP on a laptop too, though I almost always am on the Linux side.
A new work computer and a new laptop--no recession in sight over there, huh?

Thanks
I wanted to learn, and the first challenge to get it on USB stick, and installing on an eeePC partition will be interesting.
@Jerry
I wasn't using the G3 (I use a G5 at work), the problems with the G3 were :
- G3 Mac (it's like a PII or worste)
- few RAM, only CD reader, 4G HD
- and more important : it's currently used (but rarely) by newbies with computers, so we spend lot of time with minor questions/problems as 'It doesn't print ? help!', 'How to save my document?' and such...
Linux would have been helpfull, because old browsers, applications and drivers on Mac OS9 cause troubles. But I would have had to spend lot of time learning about Linux to prevent those problems and get the answers... when it's not really the work I'm paid for!
Now, this problem being resolved, I can come back to 'learning to use linux', in my spare time. Funnier this way. (I want more than using a new OS with new programs and new shortcuts to learn!)
