i need some help with downloading my world of warcraft have the cd for it but my laptop wont reed it for some reason even though it sounds like it works

Open root terminal
Login
type in
hit enter. Let it update packages first. when done.
or use synaptic package manager to install wine. Be sure and do the
first before opening synaptic package manager and installing wine.
I don't game and the only wine I do goes down my pie hole. So you are on your own a bit with World of Warcraft runniing in Wine from there from me.

Throwing this in as you seem to be totally new to running Linux and wanting to run WOW in wine.
