Hi again!
Sorry for being a pain
I decided to install AntiX 13.2 on my other laptop which had MX14 on it which it didnt seem to like so on that one i went with testing which seemed to work ok (It updated anyway)
I went with stable release as advised and went through the update and upgrade procedure via terminal again as advised and this is what i got ..this is exactly what i got when i installed originally on my Dell Laptop ..what if anything is wrong and what can i do to fix it..In Laymans terms PLEASE!!! It doesn't Look like i have any updates installed at all

I hope that this thread: post40418.html?hilit=#p40418 will be helpful to you. Look at spaceman's simplified way to get the daveserver key signature working.

In essence, he uses synaptic, at least temporarily, and he unchecks the daveserver repo, then refreshes synaptic, updates, exits, then comes back, re-enables the daveserver repo by checking it, refreshes the repo...

Follow his simple instructions; I did something similar and it worked for me as well.

These are the instructions i am following
Launch (or install __{{emoticon}}__ ) Synaptic and select Settings | Repositories and disable (untick) the daveserver entries (all of them).
Reload.
Enable (put the tick bnack in) the daverserver entries again.
Reload.
Select Custom Filters and Upgradeable (upstream) and you should see the daverserver key listed.
Right click the key stuff and select Mark for Upgrade and Apply.

Follow the prompts to confirm installation. Back at the CLI apt-get update will complete without errors now.

I hope that did the trick, as it did for me and a few others. Thanks to Dolphin_Oracle for providing the initial instructions, as well as the additional clarity on how to use them, and for Spaceman for creating some simple instructions and sharing them with all of us.
