Just caught your"Elizabeth City" tag in an earlier post. Cool. Nice area. I'm a couple of hours west -- a small (and I mean small) community called Henrico (on Lake Gaston). I'm an old Navy man, myself -- from the late 60s.

Here is"the rest of the story" about that picture. It was taken at a local political event and to get that pic I had to crop out the rest of my body, my wife, an Iowa State Senator and Tom Vilsack (Governor of Iowa at the time and briefly a Democratic Presidential candidate).

You seem to be firmly etched in the political machine away out there in Iowa.
I was here, also, once upon a time (in the opposite camp, of course). I grew tired and weary, finding little or no redeeming value in either camp. I try to stay pretty much informed, I vote, and I occasionally offer an opinion or two but that's about it nowadays. You and I would probably agree on very little in the way of politics. However, what we do agree on is AntiX. Pretty great, don't you think?
