I searched for a sutable Linux-Distro for an old (but cool notebook with PIII 750MHz), and I guess, I've found one! Great work and it looks very nice. Thanks!
Now I'm playing with the distro on my second notebook IBM T23 (PIII 1200MHz), and it runs really fast! I like it!
Hope it will be Russian localization in the future, but actually English or German is enough for me.

Welcome to the antiX forum! Glad you are enjoying antiX. Localization was a high priority for the most recent release, but the number of locales that could be localized was limited by the number of volunteers who could help us with it. If at any time you could help us localize antiX in Russian, I am sure it would be appreciated. If not, of course, enjoy antiX anyway! Glad to have you stop by. Enjoy!

and a welcome to antiX from me as well.
Russian localization is partial in antiX-M8 in the sense that you can set the Russian locales and you should get part of the fluxbox or icewm menu in Russian and other apps should have a toolbar in Russian.
I have been working on the next release to make localisation even better, but as masinick points out, I will need users to help with translation.
Enjoy antiX!

Actually it is possible to make full localization, cause IceWM fully supports Russian, I just don't wanna spend some days on configuring files (I know, I'm lazy __{{emoticon}}__ )...
The menus by me are English, that's okay. I've configured xorg.conf and now I have Russian, English, German input... I searched for keyboard indicator and should say, kkbswitch ist the best one, I use it also in KDE. Adding some country flags and now it looks pretty nice!
I had only some troubles with chinese input, but I don't really need this option on my laptop...
Now I've installed only ttf-arphic-uming and ttf-kochi-mincho for displaying chinese and japanese correctly in iceweasel....
fbsplash theme not work by me, that's a pity, but I installed some usplash themes and I'm lucky with them.
Thanks again for this wonderful distro!
