Being a long time Simply Mepis user on a new laptop, I decided to try Antix 7.01 on an older laptop that was laying on a shelf.
Surprise, this program really works and makes this old Toughbook sing again.
I just wanted to thank all of the people who toiled making this program and I will become one of your biggest supporter.

Any reason why you installed antiX-M7.01? The latest release is antiX-M7.5.

I had purchased the 7.01 awhile ago and decided to try it, and as I said, it works very well. Yesterday I did order 7.5 and can't wait to try it.

Welcome desmo! When you say you purchased 7.01 and ordered 7.5, great! It is wonderful to support the distro and the infrastructure. At the same time, I want to let you know that freely downloadable versions are also available.

I do make it a practice to support the MEPIS community in a financial way at least once a year, if not more often. Sometimes that is even after I have been downloading software. If I have the means, I share it. If I don't, I give what I have by helping out others and providing testing feedback. These things are also appreciated.
