Just wanted to say a quick Hello. I look forward to installing antiX on an old IBM laptop I just bought on eBay. Just waiting for a hard drive, and the knowledge concerning how to boot from the usb port (no CD or floppy!).

Welcome to antiX wpurcell.
To boot from usb this maybe of help.
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://www.mepis.org/docs/en/index.php/Installing_without_a_CD"
linktext was:"http://www.mepis.org/docs/en/index.php/ ... thout_a_CD"

You might be able to boot fromiso with the antiX.iso file on a usb drive (not sure though).
Alternatively, you could install antiX to usb on another box (it runs as a livecd on usb)
Let us know how you get on.
